GENERALIZED PROTOCOL FOR GOUT

GENERALIZED PROTOCOL FOR GOUT By Harry Chrissakis, Herbalist/Natural MedicineGout is a condition of excess, from excess. Gout is usually from the overconsumption of proteins and the inability to buffer out and remove those byproducts of protein metabolism (purines). It is considered a form of Arthritis, often attacking joints and particularly the big toe. It is extremely painful, often leaving the patient unable to walk. Blood testing will show elevated uric acid levels. The uric acid precipitates into the joints as urate crystals, producing pain, redness and swelling. Gout can induce Kidney Stones. Persons at risk are those that have Diabetes, Obesity, Kidney or Heart disease, however anyone can get Gout. The following protocol is very general, but will still help a Gout sufferer. With a few additions and subtractions the protocol could be used for Arthritis.
